Your favorite recipes,
kept in the family.
Pastina helps you save, write and share your recipes with your loved ones — not with the whole internet. A recipe book that stays in the family, and a cook mode so you never lose your place.
- Private by default
- Step-by-step cook mode
- Made for family and friends

Not a social network. A family recipe book.
Most recipe apps want you to publish for the whole world. Pastina starts from the opposite principle: your recipes are first for the people you love — and inspiration comes from the cooks who chose to open up their profile too.
Other recipe apps
- Your recipes are public by default
- Anyone can comment on or save them
- Your profile is visible to everyone
Pastina
- Your recipes are only visible to your loved ones
- You choose who joins your circle: family, friends
- A public profile if you decide so: you get inspired, you inspire
Everything you need, nothing you don’t

What people ask us most
Is Pastina free?
Yes. Creating your book, writing your recipes and sharing them with your loved ones is free, on both iOS and Android.
Can everyone see my recipes?
No. A recipe is only visible to the people in your circle, and you choose who joins it. Nothing is published more widely unless you decide so.
What is a public profile for?
For opening up when you feel like it: cooks who make their profile public let their recipes be seen beyond their circle, and that is where you find inspiration. Your own profile stays private by default.
Do I need the app to open a recipe someone shared with me?
No — a share link opens straight in the browser. The app is what lets you add the recipe to your own book and cook it in step-by-step mode.
What is cook mode?
A full-screen view that walks through the recipe one step at a time, so you can cook without getting lost in your phone.
